OP-108 Impact of Left Atrial Diverticula on Outcome Following Cryoballoon-based Pulmonary Vein Isolation for Atrial Fibrillation




Objectives


Left atrial diverticula (LAD) have been reported to be among the sites of extra- pulmonary vein foci in atrial fibrillation. Therefore, presence of LAD may have a role in AF recurrence following ablation for AF. In this study, we aim to investigate the impact of LAD presence on outcome following cryoballoon- based pulmonary vein isolation (PVI).




Methods


249 AF patients who underwent cardiac computed tomography prior to cryoballoon- based PVI were included. Presence of LAD was evaluated by an experiented radiologist.
