Noncompaction Cardiomyopathy


Magnetic resonance imaging revealed deep trabeculations in the ventricular wall, which define recesses communicating with the main ventricular chamber (Videoclip 86.2). The ratio of maximal thickness of the noncompacted to compacted layers (measured at end diastole in a parasternal short-axis view) was >2.
