Routine Approach to any Transesophageal Echocardiographic and Recommended views for Evaluation of Aorta

Routine Approach to any TEE view



1. Obtain gross view without color, Doppler or Magnification.

2. Place color Doppler over the individual structure.

3. Doppler the available jets if feasible.

4. Magnify the view to better review the suspected pathology.

5. Move to another view.
