PP-195 Acute Rheumatic Fever in a Patient with Repaired Tetralogy of Fallot
Objectives
Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) is the commonest cyanotic congenital heart disease. Acute rheumatic fever (ARF) has been rarely documented in a patient of TOF. We report a 14 year old patient with repaired TOF who presented with acute right side heart failure.
Methods
The echocardiogram showed mild mitral and aortic valve regurgitation which was not present one year before. Pulmonary regurgitation got worse. The mitral and aortic valve leaflets were also thickened (Figure 1).
