PP-145 The Effect of Percutaneous Closure of Atrial Septal Defects on the P Wave Dispersion

Objective

The aim of this study is to assess the P-wave dispersion (Pd) in patients who underwent percutaneous ASD closure devices, to determine the effects of structural innovations on atrial electrical inhomogeneity.

Methods

We prospectively examined 22 consecutive patients who underwent percutaneous transcatheter closure of secundum ASD from June 2013 to December 2014. P wave maximum, P wave minimum, and P wave dispersion were measured with 12-lead surface electrocardiography, before the procedure and soon after procedure.SPSS 12 was used for statistical analysis.
