Introduction

Pacemaker implantation is frequently used cardiac therapeutic method for heart disease patients. There is little data exist in the literature of the consequences of pacemaker implantation on that extremity functions.

Methods

In order to show the effects of pacemaker implantation on that extremity function we took 42 male and 18 female, mean age 64±43 years, totally 60 patients waiting for pacemaker implantation and get the measurments of range of motions at the four plane and the three axis of and also grasing power of that extemity shoulder, elbow and wrist girdle and joınt and compare with the other extremity before procedure and at 4 weeks after procedure. And the same measurments will be taken at 6 months after procedure.
