Objective
After acute myocardial infarction (AMI), patients have a high incidence of malignant ventricular arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death (SCD). In this study, we aimed to evaluate whether active training improves ventricular repolarization indexes in succesfully revascularised patients with AMI by percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
Methods
Standard 12-lead ECGs were obtained at the beginning and end of the exercise training program. The QT and p wave intervals were measured manually. QTd was calculated by subtracting the shortest from the longest QT intervals and rate corrected using Bazett’s formula (QTc-d).
