PP-103 The Prognostic Value of the Monocyte / HDL ratio in Predicting Short-term Mortality in Patients with Acute Pulmonary Embolism

Objectives

Pulmonary embolism (PE) is an acute emergency with high mortality and morbidity rates. The monocytes / high density lipoprotein (HDL) ratio (MHR), was suggested as a new marker of inflammation and oxidative stress. In addition, MHO has been shown to be closely related with the presence and prognosis some of cardiovascular disease. Inflammation and oxidative stress plays an important role in the pathophysiology of PE. The aim of the present study was to determine the prognostic value of the MHR for short-term mortality for patients with acute PE.
