PP-100 Researching Presence of P and QT Dispersions among Children of Adult Patients with Atrial Fibrillation




Aim


We aimed to compare healthy descendants of a group of adult Atrial Fibrillation(AF) patients against a group of healthy volunteers without an AF family history.




Material-Method


26 children of 16 atrial fibrillation patients whom were being followed by Turkey High Proficiency Hospital cardiology clinics were included in the study. The control group was consisted by 29 children whom were referred to Dr. Sami Ulus obstetrics and pediatrics research and education hospital due to presence of a cardiac murmur.ECG findings(rate, rhythm, axis, intervals (PR, QT, QTc), QRS duration, ST segment, duration between J point – T peak, maximum and minimum durations of QT, QTc intervals of P waves and dispersions of PWD were recorded.
