PP-083 The Association Between Prolonged of Qrs Duration and Coronary Collateral Circulation After Acute Myocardial Infarction

Objectives

The QRS duration is used for prognosis in acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The relation between the QRS duration and coronary collateral circulation is uncertain. In present study, we was to determine the relation between the QRS duration and coronary collateral circulation in patients with AMI on admission.

Methods

The present study was composed of 109 consecutive patients with AMI. All study participants had total occlusion in the left anterior descending coronary artery. Electrocardiographic registrations were taken for the assessment of the QRS duration on admission. The Rentrop classification was obtained by using coronary angiography. Patients were divided to two groups that had poor coronary collateral circulation (group 1: rentrop 0-1) and good coronary collateral circulation (group 2: rentrop 2-3).
