Percutaneous watchman device closure of the left atrial appendage is an increasingly recognized procedure as a valid alternative to oral anticoagulation, especially in patients with contraindication to anticoagulant therapy or those at high risk of bleeding. Despite previous reports has shown non inferiority of device closure to warfarin in preventing vascular stroke in patients with non valvular atrial fibrillation, several complications such as hemo-pericardium, pericardial effusion and device thrombosis have been reported after left atrial appendage closure. Device embolization is another complication with an average reported rate of less than 4%. We have reported migrating watchman device in patient with previous transcatheter aortic valve implantation procedure which finally necessitate surgical intervention.
