Background
Several meta-analyses have been conducted to evaluate associations between body mass index(BMI) and coronary heart disease(CHD) mortality. Furthermore, uric acid as a CV risk factor has been addressed in numerous prospective and cohort studies. Serum uric acid levels are also positively correlated with body mass index (BMI) in adult. However, there are no many studies about the correlation between uric acid and BMI.
