OP-078 Relation Between Fragmented QRS Complex and Left Ventricular Myocardial Performance Index in Patients with a First Anterior Acute Myocardial Infarction

Objective

Fragmented QRS (fQRS) complex includes various RSR’ patterns with different QRS complex morphologies on electrocardiograms. The aim of this study was to evaluate relation between left ventricular myocardial performance index (LV MPI) and fQRS in patients with a first Anterior Acute Myocardial Infarction.

Methods

The subjects were 123 patients (103 men, 20 women, 59±12 years) with a first anterior AMI.Based on the fQRS, they were classified into Group 1 ( fQRS (-) ) and Group 2 ( fQRS (+) ). Echocardiograms were used to determine LV MPI, in the 24 hours after the onset of AMI.
