OP-067 Is It Worth Taking Patients with Previous Coronary Artery Bypass Graft for Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention? – An Observational Study from a Large Tertiary Centre in England

Aim

To compare outcomes in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI) with and without previous coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG).

Background

Limited information exists regarding procedural success and clinical outcomes of STEMI patients with CABG undergoing PPCI. Some centres have predicted poorer outcomes if the infarct related artery was a graft, compared to native vessel. However, very limited long-term follow up data is available for comparing PPCI in CABG patients to patients without previous CABG.

Setting

Single cardiovascular tertiary-centre observational registry based study.
