OP-066 The Factors Affecting Stent Restenosis and Target Lesion Revascularization

Objectives

Stenting is the most widely performed procedure for the treatment of coronary arter disease. Many studies have investigated the superiority of one another about drug-eluting and bare metal stents. Many studies do not represent real conditions and clinic outcomes that they have been applied for the selective criteria. We tried to reflect real clinical outcomes in our study, reviewing all patients with stent implantation that followed over six months from June 2007 to August 2011 in our clinic. Our aim is to evaluate the frequency of stent restenosis and target lesion revascularization in patients with various brands of stents in all indications in our clinic and to identify the effect of clinical, angiographic, and procedure-related variables about this frequency, according to the type of stent.

Method

805 consecutive patients with stents were evaluated from our registry retrospectively. The quantitative angiographic parameters of target lesions were examined with the help of a quantitative coronary analysis software at pre-procedure, post-procedure and at the time of kontrol CAG.Differences between groups were compared using Student- t test, Mann-Whitney test,chi-square test for continuous and categorical variables, respectively.A multiple logistic regression analysis was used to identfy independent predictor of angiographic or clinic restenosis and target lesion revascularization.
