Background


Percutaneous patent ductus arteriosus closure has become increasingly common with the evolution of new devices and techniques. The aim of this study is to share of our 17 years’ experience, long term follow-up and to discuss safety, efficacy of percutaneous PDA closure in children.




Material-Methods


Three hundred seventy nine percutaneous PDA closures were done between the dates July 1997 to September 2014 in Erciyes University School of Medicine, Pediatric Cardiology Deparment. 95.8 % of patients were closed successfully.
