OP-005 Relation Between Platelet/Lymphocyte Ratio and Coronary Flow in Patients With ST-Segment Elevation Acute Myocardial Infarction Undergoing Primary Coronary Intervention

Objectives

Platelet/lymphocyte ratio (PLR) has been shown as an inflammatory biomarkers for coronary heart disease, but data regarding the association of PLR with coronary blood flow in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) are lacking. We aimed to investigate the relationship between the PLR and no-reflow in patient with STEMI.

Methods

In present study, we included 360 consecutive patients suffering from STEMI who underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention (p-PCI), reperfused within 12 h of symptom onset. Patients were divided into 2 groups based on Thrombolysis In Myocardial Infarction (TIMI) flow Grade and Myocardial blush grade (MBG). No-reflow after p-PCI was defined as a coronary TIMI flow grade <= 2 after vessel re-canalized or TIMI flow grade 3 together with a final MBG < 2.
