Oxygen toxicity
• It is not clear what concentration of inspired oxygen causes toxicity. The general principle is to reduce the FiO2 to the lowest level that maintains a PaO2 > 55 mmHg or SaO2 >88%. Oxygen toxicity is associated with:

Pulmonary vasodilation
